Norah Jones - Come Away With Me
This CD was released in 2002 with 14 tracks and when I listen to it, it really makes me feel like I am somewhere else.
Not to denounce any of the singles that made this CD the amazing piece of work that it is, but I am absolutely in love with Painter Song and The Nearness of You. I feel like I am in Paris and taking in the food & art, and the later makes me feel like I am living in New York City and walking home late at night.
I overall rate this CD an 8 out of 10. Norah Jones and "The Handsome Band" as she so called them when I saw her in concert really played to their strengths: Musically, Lyrically, and Creatively.
The subtle covers blazon in between the original compositions weave an amazing blanket of musical warmth that I can enjoy listening to over and over again.
